Past Continuous употребляется для выражения действия, происходящего в определённый момент или период времени в прошлом was were V ing I/he/she/it you/we/they Questions Negations Mary was writing an essay at 2 o’clock yesterday. Statements Was Mary writing an essay at 2 o’clock yesterday? Yes, she was. No, she wasn’t. Mary wasn’t writing an essay at 2 o’clock yesterday. They were playing tennis from 5 till 6 yesterday. Were they playing tennis from 5 till 6 yesterday? Yes, they were. No, they weren’t. They weren’t playing tennis from 5 till 6 yesterday. |
